Caroline Pitcher's work has been garnered with awards - the Kathleen Fiddler Award, the Independent/Scholastic Story of the Year Award, an FCBG award shortlisting. Silkscreen was nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and won an Arts Council Award worth [pound]7000. Caroline lives in Derbyshire with her family, and the inspiration for Basil the in 11 o'Clock Chocolate Cake.
