Young children experience many changes and losses in their world. In the past people were encourages to let go and move on when they experienced a loss. Now more people see loss as something they get used to rather than get over in time. People deal with loss best by acknowleding it and trying to find helpful ways of dealing with it. This book aims to give parents and other adults who care for and educate babies and children in the early childhood years information to help them when they are dealing with these issues. It suggests ways that adults can understand and support children, and other adults around them, in times of loss.
