Gillian Torckler, a medical imaging professor and research scientist, has also written books for adults and children on nature, snorkelling, diving and the creatures found in the oceans. Darryl Torckler is a photographer who specialises in nature and underwater subjects. He has won more than 100 international photography awards and his work has been widely published internationally. Gillian and Darryl live close to the sea in North Auckland, New Zealand. They have published 12 books together, including You've Only Just Begun, an inspirational gift book for new graduates.
