Maori Books

This compilation has been produced to facilitate access for workers, educators and researchers to records of the work done by Pakeha in their effors to honour the Treaty of Waitangi. At the Treaty Conference in Tamaki Makaurau in 2001 the need to bring together the recorded knowledge and reflection that has been done within the interest Pakeha Treaty movement was identified. A Manukau Institue of Technology research grant enabled the author to undertake a project to add to the recorded knowledge of Pakeha Treaty work by compiling a biography of material which contributes to the understanding of the processes of the Pakeha Treaty movement. This bibliography includes references to both unpublished and published works and includes books, journal articles, newsletters, reports, conference papers, lectures and discussion papers. All material is post 1980. Pakeha Treaty workers from around the country provided work for inclusion in the bibliography. Many of their writings had not found a place in publications, yet they form a critical record of the thinking and work of the Pakeha Treaty movement.
